4 days Mgoun trek

• Day 1: Marrakech(450m) – Arous(1900m) – Ikkis(2350m)

Drive from Marrakech to the famus valley of Ait Bougeumez. It is well known as the happy valley. In the village of Arous, you will meet our staff and start your walk. 1.5h walk to get to your first campsite(2350m).

• Day 2: Ikiss(2350) – Aghri Pass(3400) – Mgoun basecamp(2930m)

Today, we hike up along the valley to get to the pass of Jbel Aghri(3400m) with a great view of Mount Mgoun massive. We then head down to basecamp(2930m) for the night. 5h walking. overnight in tents.

• Day 3: Basecamp(2930m) – Mgoun ascent(4071m) – Igli n Tnwot(2800m)

An early start to trek to the summit of Mgoun. The ridge of the mountain offers a marvelous view to the south of Morocco. walk down to the camp in the green plateau of Tanwot for the night in tents. 8h walking

• Day 4: Igli n Tnwot – Tizi n Ait Imi – Ait Bouguemez – Marrakech

After breakfast, we walk over the pass of Tizi n Ait Imi and down to the village of Tabant for lunch. After your last lunch meal with our group muleteers, our driver will pick you up and drive you safely back to Marrakech. 4h walk and 4h drive to Marrakech.
