The tour Saghro trek and Sahara tour starts in Marrakech. Our guide and the driver pick you up from your place in Marrakech or the airport. you will be leaving the city of Marrakech and heading over the Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate. After a lunch stop in the Hollywood of Morocco, we cross Skoura and Rose Valley. Finally, we get to our destination, the village of Tagedilt for our first night in Gite.

After Breakfast in the guesthouse, we meet our group muleteers who will carry our luggage and food. We then start our adventure; first, we go on a gentle walk following a small road to the foot of the mountain range. After a lunch break in a beautiful viewpoint, we carry on to our camp in Almoun n warg.

As we leave the camp this morning, we set up for an easy climb to the peak of Jbel Kouaouch 2592m. we then walk down for our lunch in the valley. Magnificent volcanic rock formation, continue walking to our camp just above the little village of Igli.

The reflection of the sun as it is rising on the slopes of the mountains looks spectacular. You will wish not to leave this camp, just stay, watch and listen to the goat. Many Nomads come and bring their animals for the winter and springtime. Beautiful walk passing via oasis and fine gorge, overnight in the famous gate of Bab n Ali.

Enjoy our last breakfast in the Berber tent with our staff. We then leave Bab n Ali walking heading toward Ighazzoun n Imlast and to Tifrit. Another amazing varied walk, passing via the trail of the Iblohn columns and oasis. after lunch shirt wand and pick a local bus to Tifrit for the night in a guesthouse.

Today, as we set off, we head down to Nkoub and cross man Berber towns to get to Rissani for lunch. This afternoon, it’s time to head towards the Sahara Desert at Merzouga, where we transfer to our camels for an incredible trek across the vast Erg Chebbi dunes for a night at our remote Berber Camp. An experience that is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on travelers young and old! We enjoy a relaxing evening in the desert; we can scale the giant sand dunes and watch an incredible sunset before settling down to enjoy local food and listen to Berber music. Tonight we camp under the glittering Saharan stars.

Leaving the desert, we continue our journey to Todra Gorge. This 1000ft gorge is hemmed in on all sides by vertical limestone cliffs and is known as Morocco’s Grand Canyon. From its plunging depths to dizzying heights, the charm of Todra lies in its changing colors as the sun slowly moves from east to west. Lunch will be at our hotel and after lunch will be a free afternoon to relax by the pool, go for a swim and late afternoon to visit the gorge

Toudra Gorge – Ait Benhaddou. This morning we travel through The Roses Valley (which is famous for its roses), en route to the legendary Ait Benhaddou, a fortified city situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Granted UNESCO World Heritage listing, the site had been the setting for many films including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. Enjoy a guided tour of this remarkable site, exploring the ancient winding alleys, towers, and kasbahs – a handful of which remain inhabited today.

Today’s drive offers panoramic views as we traverse the high Atlas Mountains on our way to Essaouira. A colorful old city and fishing village is located within 15th–century Portuguese fortifications. Just outside the town great beaches and an Atlantic surf beckon.
